LyricFlutes

Music aficionados have long been familiar with chamber music groups such as string quartets, brass quintets, piano trios and various other combinations of instruments. A chamber music group of flutes is a bit of a rarity.
LyricFlutes is a newly formed ensemble dedicated to performing the rich heritage of music for flute in solo, duet, trio and quartet forms, at times in partnership with piano and organ. Since the group’s debut performance, audiences have responded enthusiastically to virtuoso pieces composed from baroque period through modern times, including poetically interpretive gems from contemporary Japanese influences.
Members include Jean Antrim, Fran Pierce, Joanne O’Connor, and Valerie Roche. Jocelyn Chaparro assists on piano and organ. The ensemble is based in Exeter, NH.
In addition to concert presentations, LyricFlutes is available to perform music for business affairs, weddings, private functions, house concerts and other events.

LyricFlutes presents chamber music with a special sound, both sonorous and bright, showcasing the players’ abilities, musicality and versatility, depending on the repertoire.
One final note: Don't have an organ at your wedding site? LyricFlutes can provide all the traditional processionals, recessionals, and all the music in between, to assure you of the perfect wedding day!
A quote from a review of a recent concert performance reads:
“LyricFlutes delivers on all counts ... Don’t miss this performance.”
